I’m Mark Hulst, and I’m running for Skagit County Auditor as an independent. After 12 years serving on the Mount Vernon City Council, I believe county government should operate with efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
The Auditor’s Office plays a vital role in our county—overseeing elections, public records, and financial accountability. These responsibilities require professionalism and public trust.
I’m running as an independent because I believe this office should rise above partisanship and focus on delivering reliable, effective service. I’m grateful for support from across the community because this work is about competence and trust—not politics.
